H.S. Shot Putter Nick Vena Does it Again

Vena has done it again launching a very impressive throw in the High School Shot 72’5 at the Penn Relays this past weekend. What’s more impressive is that he is only a sophomore. That throw placed him securely as the best thrower in the nation amongst an extremely talented crop of H.S. throwers. May is going to be an exciting month, so stay tuned for more results.

Mason Finley Wow’s The Discus World…Again!

This Kid is only 17 years old and he is 6’8” and weighs in over 330lbs. This past weekend he amazed the world when threw the high school discus a new US Record of 236’6 at the High Altitude Challenge in Alamosa, Colorado. The old record was set back in 2001 by Utah’s Niklas Arrhenius with a throw of 234-3.
