The Caledonian Society of Arizona hosted the 45th Annual Arizona Scottish Gathering and Highland Games this weekend leading with a Pro-Am competition on Saturday. With 6 Pro and 6 Amateurs lining up to take on a new field and wonderful weather (80 degrees in February - only in Phoenix)! While its our plan to track down each of the athletes at the event, this interview focuses on Bert Sorin who ruled the stone throws - taking both Braemar and Open Stone - setting new field records and PRs in each. Kansas City Scottish Games have announced that they will host the 2009 USA National Weight for Distance Championships held on June 13^th in Riverside, Missouri.
