Vena has done it again launching a very impressive throw in the High School Shot 72’5 at the Penn Relays this past weekend. What’s more impressive is that he is only a sophomore. This Kid is only 17 years old and he is 6’8” and weighs in over 330lbs. This past weekend he amazed the world when threw the high school discus a new US Record of 236’6 at the High Altitude Challenge in Alamosa, Colorado. The old record was set back in 2001 by Utah’s Niklas Arrhenius with a throw of 234-3.
