The Arnold Sports Festival 2009 is in full swing, and the big boys are clashing major iron. Terry Todd's line-up of some of the strongest men on the planet has once again brought the noise in the Strongman Event. The giants of strength started with the 875lb. Timber Carry, up a ramp for time. This event was a close race between event record holder, Andrus Murumets, who clocked 7.94 sec, which was eclipsed by a very charged-up Travis Ortmeyer with 7.85sec. Hellier Comes Out On Top Down Under

For what is the reported, 16th straight year, Pat Hellier has brought home top honors at the Paeroa Highland Games in New Zealand and in the process set a new national record for the 16 lb. stone putt. Not a huge surprise as Hellier has been a common face at the World Highland Games Championship for the past five or six years.
